Kaiora Downs Horse Trails

Kaiora Downs is a relaxed 80min drive (110km) from Christchurch. We are located 8km west of the village of Culverden at 224 Pahau Downs Road.

 

Once you reach Culverden, turn left at School Road as you are heading north toward Hanmer Springs. Travel 6km on School Road, then take a gentle right hand turn onto the shingle road, Pahau Downs Road.

 

Our property is 2.2Km on the right with Kaiora Downs on the gate. Go through the middle of the three gates and head left toward the woolshed . Look for the grey silo and go through the gate to to the left of it. The Whare is behind the woolshed tucked under the pine hegde row with adjacent yards for the horses.
